Job summary

The Hinckley School in Hinckley, England, is seeking an efficient and effective technician to support Food Technology lessons, helping to maintain a safe, hygienic and stimulating learning environment.

Under the direction of the Subject Leader, you will prepare tools, equipment and materials for lessons and assist staff and pupils in running safe areas. The role is pro-rata for 30 hours per week across 39 weeks per year, with a Grade 3 salary range of £18,482 to £19,377.

Opportunity

We are seeking to appoint a an efficient and effective technician to provide a support service to Food Technology, which adds value, facilitates the achievement of educational objectives, and contributes to the provision of a safe, hygienic, and stimulating learning environment. Under the direction of the Subject Leader, you will provide outstanding support and assistance in running safe areas for staff and pupils by the preparation of tools, equipment and materials for food technology lessons.

Salary & Benefits

Grade 3 £18,482 - £19,377 (per annum pro-rata salary)

Mon: 8.30 am – 3.30 pm

Tues – Thurs: 9am – 3.30pm

Fri: 9am – 2.30 pm

(all with half an hour unpaid lunch break)

30 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum
