Job summary

Zest Education is seeking a dedicated Food Technician in Dudley to support the Food Technology department. The role involves preparing resources, maintaining equipment and ensuring practical lessons run smoothly.

The successful candidate will start as soon as possible and support the school on a temporary basis until December 2026, with a focus on health and safety, stock control, and a clean, compliant kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Food Technician or catering role is desirable.
• School experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• A Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial but is not essential.

Food Technician - Dudley

We are currently seeking a dedicated and organised Food Technician to join a welcoming secondary school in Dudley. This is an excellent opportunity to support the Food Technology department by preparing resources, maintaining equipment, and ensuring practical lessons run smoothly.

The successful candidate will be available to start as soon as possible and will be committed to supporting the school until at least December 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing ingredients, equipment, and resources for Food Technology lessons.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
