Job summary

The Witherslack Group seeks a qualified Food Tech Teacher for Hilden Park School near Tonbridge to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related SEMH needs. You will plan lessons, adapt materials and foster a positive learning environment.

You will work with dedicated staff, receive full induction and enjoy excellent benefits including holidays, progression opportunities and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Food Tech to diverse learners, including SEND.
• Qualified Teacher Status and active teaching registration required.
• Ability to adapt lessons for autistic spectrum and SEMH needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Food Tech lessons.
• Assess and track pupil progress.
• Collaborate with support staff and therapists to support students.

Hilden Park school is a purpose built, brand new, state of the art school, catering primarily for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger's and Speech, Language and Communication needs.
