Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Shift Leader to coordinate resources and ensure all shift activities are completed effectively. This role involves people management, decision-making within established parameters, and regular interaction with team members, colleagues, auditors, suppliers, and customers.

Role Purpose:

To ensure all work is completed according to the daily schedule, communicate effectively with stakeholders, develop customer relationships, and ensure compliance standards are met.

Key Interactions:

Internal: Team Manager, other Shift Leaders, Bond and Flight employees, support functions, Operations Manager, Flight Services, General Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure work completion per schedule and within costs
• Manage shift rosters effectively
• Supervise team duties and monitor work
• Address issues promptly and escalate when necessary
• Maintain customer service standards
• Handle customer requests and escalate unresolved issues
• Follow legislation, policies, and procedures
• Adhere to security, fire, HACCP, and hygiene procedures
• Conduct compliance checks and housekeeping
• Report vehicle defects
• Ensure safety practices including PPE and manual handling
• Identify training needs
• Facilitate effective handovers and team briefings
