Aramark UK is recruiting a Food Service Worker for Thiepval Barracks, Lisburn. You will support daily catering operations, deliver excellent service and ensure high standards in a secure military environment.

The role offers a competitive rate of £12.71 per hour, 21 hours per week, and a 5-day‑per‑week pattern. Employee benefits, pension contributions and career progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in catering, hospitality or customer service is desirable but not essential.
• A positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, flexible and well-organised approach to work.
• Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Serving food and beverages in a professional and friendly manner.
• Assisting with food preparation and basic kitchen duties.
• Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, servery and dining areas.
• Operating tills and handling customer transactions where required.
• Replenishing food, beverages and supplies throughout service.
• Following all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Supporting colleagues to ensure an efficient and smooth-running service.
