Job summary

Aramark UK is hiring a Food Service Assistant for Brockenhurst College. You will support the catering operation, serve food and drinks, and help maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in a busy education environment.

You will work 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with no evenings or weekend work. The role offers competitive hourly pay and access to benefits while joining a supportive team in a vibrant campus setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in catering, hospitality or customer service is desirable but not essential.
• Positive attitude and a strong focus on customer service.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety practices is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Serving food and beverages in a professional and friendly manner.
• Assisting with food preparation and presentation.
• Operating tills and handling customer transactions accurately.
• Replenishing counters, displays and service areas throughout the day.
• Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas.
• Following all food safety, allergen and health & safety procedures.
• Assisting with washing up and general kitchen housekeeping duties.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an efficient service.
