Aramark UK is recruiting a Food Service Assistant to join the team at Brockenhurst College. You will support the catering service, serving food and helping maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer care in a vibrant educational setting.

The role offers a 30-hour week with a fixed Monday to Friday pattern and a pay rate of £12.76 per hour. No evening or weekend shifts, with training and progression opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in catering, hospitality or customer service is desirable but not essential.
• A positive attitude and a strong focus on customer service.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and flexible approach to work.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety practices is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages in a professional and friendly manner.
• Assist with food preparation and presentation.
• Operate tills and handle customer transactions accurately.
• Replenish counters, displays and service areas.
• Maintain excellent dining and kitchen cleanliness.
• Follow all food safety, allergen and health & safety procedures.
• Assist with washing up and kitchen housekeeping duties.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver efficient service.
