Job summary

Pobl Group in the Pontypridd area is seeking a friendly Food Service Assistant (Relief) to join our CODI Extra Care Services team in Aberman. You will help prepare and serve meals, set and clear tables, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen for tenants.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individuals with great customer service skills to join our catering teams as Food Service Assistant (Relief) in our CODI EXTRA CARE SERVICES in Aberman, one mile away from Aberdare Town Centre and Pontypridd. Our catering team prepares and serves tasty and nutritious meals for our valued tenants in our CODI EXTRA CARE SERVICEs in Aberman, one mile away from Aberdare Town Centre and Pontypridd., As Food Service Assistant, you'll support our busy catering team. In this role, you'll help prepare and serve food, lay and clear tables, and ensure the kitchen remains clean, tidy, and safe for our tenants.

• Strong communication skills - Greeting tenants warmly and explaining menu options clearly.
• Basic understanding of dietary and nutritional needs - Following simple guidelines for vegetarian or allergen-friendly meals.
• Hands-on approach to kitchen and dining duties - Setting up tables, washing dishes, and keeping everything spotless is key for this role.
• Team player with a flexible attitude - Jumping in to help with plating up, or tidying when things get busy. We are looking for someone who has a positive, supportive, and inclusive attitude towards colleagues and tenants.

• Clean and safe - You'll need to take pride in keeping the kitchen spotless and understand the importance of Health & Safety and Food Safety.

Salary

• Annual salary of £24,563.74(FTE)
• 3 x Life Cover linked to pension membership

Pension Choices
