Job summary

Luminate Education Group is seeking a Food Service Assistant to join our catering team at Printworks Campus, a busy, friendly environment serving students, staff and visitors. You will assist with food preparation, serve meals, stock and clean displays, operate the EPOS till and maintain high hygiene standards to ensure a welcoming dining experience.

This part-time role is 32.5 hours per week, with Monday to Friday shifts and two evening shifts on Tuesday and Thursday, offering a rewarding role

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or catering is preferred.
• Ability to work in a busy dining area.
• Commitment to food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Actual annual salary for 32.5 hours, over 37 weeks will be £19,731 per annum & the hourly rate is £13.45 per hour.
• Assist the Chef Manager in food preparation.
• Stock & clean food display
• Use of an EPOS till.
• Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the café and cooking areas, including washing up and cleaning of equipment.
• Ensure food safety requirements are adhered to at all times and all due diligence records are completed accurately.
