Job summary

Vertas is seeking a dedicated school catering assistant at High Oakham Primary, Mansfield. You will work 12.5 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, 11:15–13:45, during 39.2 weeks per year, supporting a high-quality catering service in a clean, safe, welcoming environment for pupils.

You will assist with meal prep and serving, deliver friendly customer service to pupils, staff and visitors, maintain hygiene in kitchen and dining areas, and follow food safety and health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or customer service is desirable but not essential.

About the Role:

Based at High Oakham Primary, NG18 4SH, you will be working 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 11:15 to 13:45, 39.2 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of a high quality catering service, ensuring pupils receive excellent food service in a clean, safe and welcoming environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
