Job summary

The King's School Chester in Chester invites applications for a Food Service Assistant. Role: 25 hours per week, shift 09:30am–2:30pm. You'll prepare, serve, and replenish meals, maintain hygiene and safety, and provide welcoming customer service to students and staff.

What You Will Do:

• Prepare, serve, and replenish meals, snacks, and refreshments for students and staff.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety across all catering areas.
• Set up, clear, and clean dining areas, kitchen equipment, and workspaces before and after service.
• Deliver friendly and efficient customer service, creating a welcoming dining experience.
• Complete food temperature checks, cleaning schedules, stock takes, and other catering records.
• Support school events and function catering, assisting with setup, service, and cleaning duties.
