Job summary

Sodexo LVS Ascot is seeking a part-time Food Service Assistant to support the catering team in delivering high-quality meals to students and staff. The role emphasizes front-line service, cleanliness and excellent customer care, with weekend shifts to fit local applicants.

You will help with preparation, presentation and service while maintaining hygiene, safety and a welcoming dining environment for all users.

• Working collaboratively with the wider catering team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Shift Sunday Shift – 8.30am – 2.30pm & 5pm – 7.30pm

**Please note as Sunday is a split shift, this would suit more local applicants**

Hours 8 hours per week

Rate of Pay

8am – 5pm @ £13.76 per hour

5pm – 7.30pm @ £16.08 per hour

The Role

At LVS Ascot, food service is an important part of the student experience. Our catering team takes pride in delivering high-quality meals and excellent customer service within a welcoming and professional environment.
As a Food Service Assistant, you will play a key frontline role supporting the preparation, presentation and service of meals to students, staff and visitors while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, safety and customer care.

About You

• Previous experience within catering, hospitality or food service is desirable, but not essential
• A Food Hygiene Certificate would be advantageous, although training can be provided
• An enhanced DBS check will be required for all successful applicants.
