Job summary

RSSL in Reading is seeking a Project Manager to oversee critical projects in our Food Sciences laboratory, including novel foods, stability studies and method validations. You will manage client communications, lead a team of Scientists and Technicians, and ensure delivery on time and to quality standards.

The role focuses on science-led, customer-focused project delivery with opportunities to develop skills and contribute to a leading CRO serving Mondelez and other clients.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree or PhD in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Ability to independently manage and deliver multiple projects.
• Experience working in a regulated environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage projects within Food Sciences, including novel foods and validations.
• Supervise and develop Scientists and Technicians.
• Provide training and cross-train across laboratories as demand requires.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders; deliver project reports and reviews.
