Job summary

Kepak Group is launching a 2-year Food Safety & Quality Graduate Programme in Scotland. You will rotate across Hygiene, Quality Control, and Production, gaining hands-on experience in ensuring food safety, hygiene, and product quality.

The scheme aims to develop future leaders, with potential progression to Site Technical Manager. The role requires a degree in Food Science/Technology/Agriculture or related field, with a keen interest in the red meat sector.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Technology, Agriculture, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
• Interest in agri-sector and understanding of red meat industry beneficial.
• Internships/placements or self-initiated work in operations or technical roles advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Participate in rotational placements across Hygiene, Quality Control, and Production.
• Conduct daily hygiene checks and product quality assessments to ensure standards.
• Identify potential quality issues and escalate to LM or Technical Manager as needed.
• Analyse QC data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate quality issues and resolutions within QC and with production teams.
