Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd in York is seeking a diligent Quality Assurance Technician for our food production site. You will report to the Technical Manager and perform daily compliance checks across factory departments, record results, and raise any non-conformances.

You will conduct internal audits, sampling, temperature monitoring, and traceability tasks in line with HACCP, GMP and lab procedures, supporting audits by customers and third parties, and helping maintain certification readiness.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Technical Manager on conformance with Assurance objectives.
• Carry out daily compliance checks and report non-conformances.
• Conduct internal audits of QA, GMP, and hygiene practices.
• Take DNA swabs twice weekly and send to the lab portal.
• Monitor temperatures daily and ensure proper record keeping.
