Job summary

G2 Recruitment Group Limited is sourcing a Food Safety Officer for Hertfordshire on a Pay Per Inspection basis, with duties to support a very busy Food Safety team in Hertfordshire until March 2027.

Key responsibilities include carrying out inspections in line with regulatory standards and ensuring compliance with the FSA Food Law Code of Practice, with workload managed to meet timeframes.

Qualifications

• Desirable: Lives within Hertfordshire or willing to commute 5 days per week
• Has a UK driving license
• Ability to manage inspections independently
• Worked for a local authority within an Environmental Health team

Responsibilities

• Carry out approximately (Apply online only) food hygiene inspections (Category D and new/unrated premises) in line with regulatory standards
• Undertake inspections across the Hertfordshire District
• Ensure all inspections comply with the Food Standards Agency (FSA) Food Law Code of Practice
• Manage allocated workload and complete inspections within agreed timeframes

I am looking to place a Food Safety Officer, who is searching for their next role until March 2027. The role is a Pay Per Inspection role, to support a very busy Food Safety team in Hertfordshire.
