Join to apply for the food safety and quality manager role at Starbucks EMEA

As a food safety and quality manager, you are a strong communicator and be able to influence senior stakeholders through thought leadership. Your remit would be to drive the global FSQR strategy in EMEA within production, distribution and company owned, franchised and licensed stores.

In this role you will be given the chance to shape the future of food safety and quality within Starbucks EMEA. What's important to you is making a positive impact and executing the global and EMEA food safety and quality strategic plans across multiple product categories.

Collaborating with and managing licensees to ensure compliance with global food safety standards from sourcing through to store.

You thrive supporting suppliers, distribution centres, and EMEA stores in maintaining safe, legal, and compliant operations—minimizing regulatory and reputational risks.

To excel in this role, you'll need to be courageous in making difficult decisions and challenging the status quo. This role requires an individual who is motivated by driving continuous improvement and achieving measurable goals.

The Key Requirements...

  • Experience working in large markets or across multiple sites in food or beverage
  • A background in quality assurance is essential
  • Balancing business goals with legal and regulatory responsibilities.
  • Communicating clearly and effectively, both in writing and speaking.
  • Thinking critically and solving problems with a sharp, analytical mindset.
  • Staying focused and adaptable in fast-changing or uncertain situations.
  • Working well both independently and as part of a team
  • A degree in nutrition or a food related discipline
  • Stakeholder management and ability to partner with a variety of business functions
  • Strong analytical skills to set KPIs, identify data trends, draw lessons learned, report accurately and make recommendations grounded in facts and insights

Joining Starbucks, you'll be part of a business that is known for its rich history, knowledge of coffee and passion to foster human connection. Working for a business who is committed to nurturing the limitless possibilities of human connection and sharing products and knowledge around the world.

Within this role, there is an opportunity for you to belong to a global organisation with a diverse partner base. Everyone is a partner at Starbucks, not an employee. Your future will be yours to make your own, and you can make an impact across the organisation from day one.

Here at Starbucks, our purpose is to continue our steady growth across the globe. With every cup, with every conversation, with every community, we strive to achieve this goal.

At Starbucks, we believe in working towards a future where joy is part of every customer experience. We are on a transformation journey, so managing ambiguity is key. It is an opportunity for you to enjoy working cross functionally and be a subject matter expert in your field.
