Job summary

Higgidy is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance professional in the United Kingdom to drive improvements in systems and ways of working. You will lead investigations of incidents, complaints trends and non-conformances, ensure closures with relevant teams, and manage external service providers and calibration/Laboratory Services.

The role requires 3–5 years in a technical QA role, knowledge of BRC standards and HACCP Level 3, Level 4 Food Safety qualification, excellent spoken and written

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of technical QA experience
• Experience with BRC and major retailers
• HACCP Level 3 knowledge

Responsibilities

• Question, challenge and seek opportunities to improve systems and ways of working
• Lead investigations of incidents, complaints trends and non-conformances trends, ensuring closure of non-conformances by relevant teams.
• Management of external service providers, specifically small equipment calibration and Laboratory Services
• Maintenance of QMS (Quality Management System), ensuring on-going audit readiness and highlighting deficiencies to the Technical Manager

Skills

3-5 years' experience in a technical/‑

BRC audits knowledge

HACCP Level 3

English - spoken and written

Microsoft Office proficiency

Education

Level 4 Food Safety Qualification

What SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE do you need to have?

• 3 - 5 years' experience gained within a similar Technical role
• Experience and understanding of third-party audit requirements including BRC and major retailers
• Experience and knowledge of HACCP level 3
Level 4 Food Safety Qualification
• An excellent standard of both verbal and written English
• Proficient with using Microsoft office packages
