Morrisons is seeking a Manufacturing Key Operative - Quality Controller to perform routine checks on products and packaging for safety and legality. You will record information in our systems to demonstrate traceability and escalate any non-conformances to prevent recalls.

The role involves working in a fast-paced factory environment, tolerating varying temperatures, and contributing to reducing losses while meeting customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing and food handling experience preferred but not essential.
• Full training will be provided.
• Quality control and understanding of product allergens desirable.
• Food Safety Level 2 and HACCP Level 2 desirable.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine checks on products and packaging for safety and legality.
• Record information using relevant systems to demonstrate traceability.
• Escalate non-conformances to prevent product withdrawals or recalls.
• Conduct temperature probing, swabbing, weight and size checks.
• Aim to minimise loss of sales or profit while meeting customer requirements.
• Work in varying temperatures with provided protective clothing.
