Job summary

Greencore, a leading UK producer of convenience food, is seeking a QA Auditor at the Spalding site. The role focuses on auditing Quality Management Systems, GMP and HACCP, ensuring traceability, sampling and investigation support.

You will drive corrective actions with operations, and assist in NPD trials and product life assessments. You will work with a team of around 540 colleagues, benefiting from on-site training, a restaurant for staff, and strong health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent with numeracy and literacy.
• Basic IT skills including MS Office.
• Health & Safety Level 2 and Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification.
• CCP training including HACCP principles for Manufacturing Unit.
• Experience and understanding of internal audit processes.
• Knowledge of GMP techniques and non-conformance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Audit compliance against Quality Management Systems, GMP and HACCP with objective evidence.
• Communicate with operations to implement corrective actions and monitor progress.
• Suggest improvements to fabrication and procedures.
• Understand site traceability to complete audits and investigations.
• Take samples (micro, nutritional, swab, organoleptic) per schedules.
• Prepare and facilitate taste panels and record results.
• Calibrate measurement equipment per schedules.
• Assist QA Supervisor in investigations on specs, complaints and incidents.
• Support NPD trials and product launches with micro testing.
• Provide technical support during customer visits or audits.
• Coordinate daily activities to improve Technical KPIs.
• Operate safely and support health, safety and environment initiatives.
