Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting for Food Production and Warehouse Operatives in Meldreth for immediate start. The roles offer ongoing temporary work with potential progression to permanent positions and full training provided.

Typical shift is Monday to Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm, with a pay rate of £13.27 per hour. FLT experience is advantageous but not essential. Drive and reliability are valued for fast-paced production environments.

Food Production & Warehouse Operatives – Immediate Start

Location: Meldreth, Royston
Pay: £13.27 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm
Job Type: Temporary, with potential to become permanent
Start Date: Immediate

About the Role

My cleint is currently recruiting for Food Production and Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and well-established food manufacturing business based in Meldreth.

These are excellent opportunities for candidates looking for ongoing temporary work with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

Full training will be provided, so previous food production or warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.

Food Production Duties

• Picking stock from the cold store.

• Processing and handling food products.

• Cutting meat to size using a band saw following full training.

• Packing finished products.

• Palletising products ready for dispatch.

• Carrying out basic quality checks.

• Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures.

• Keeping the production area clean and organised.

Warehouse Duties

• Loading and unloading deliveries.

• Moving stock around the warehouse.

• Picking and preparing orders.

• Packing and palletising products.

• Preparing goods for dispatch.

• Keeping the warehouse clean and organised.

• Following health and safety procedures.

• Supporting the wider production and warehouse team as required.

FLT experience or a valid FLT licence would be an advantage, particularly for the warehouse duties, but it is not essential for all positions.
