Job summary

The Compleat Food Group is recruiting Skilled Production Operatives for our Doncaster site. You will help ensure products meet our high standards, perform essential quality checks, monitor temperature, and maintain accurate records. The role is hands-on, requiring on-feet work in a busy food manufacturing environment.

Shift pattern is Monday to Friday 13.45-21.45 (PM shift). Excellent opportunities to contribute to a growing, values-driven team with strong focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence to raise and expand quality concerns when something isn’t right.
• Good manual dexterity and physical fitness for a fast-paced production environment.
• A flexible approach to work.
• Previous experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or another continuous-process environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor products as they exit the ovens and complete all required quality checks.
• Check products against quality standards, customer specifications and company procedures.
• Carry out temperature checks and accurately record the results.
• Monitor product size, weight and shape and identify any non-conformances.
• Raise quality concerns with the Kitchen team quickly so issues can be addressed early.
• Complete production paperwork accurately and on time to maintain full product traceability.
• Accurately transferring and recording information from different sources.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and GMP standards.
• Keep the working area clean, tidy and organised (CAYG).
• Work safely and follow site Health & Safety procedures.
• Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
