Job summary

Barfoots of Botley in Chichester & Pagham is seeking experienced Food Manufacturing Operators to set up and run production lines, complete changeovers and monitor performance in a busy fresh food environment. You’ll work days only with a 4 days on, 4 days off pattern and join a team focused on safety and efficiency.

You’ll receive Welcome Bonus and Productivity Bonus*, plus opportunities for training, progression to Technical Operator or Supervisor, and a company pension with Life Assurance.

Qualifications

• Experience working with production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of production processes and mechanical awareness.
• Ability to identify and solve minor production faults with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production lines
• Operate food production and packaging equipment
• Complete product and machine changeovers
• Monitor line performance and respond to problems
• Carry out routine checks and minor adjustments
• Record production and SIC information
• Work with Engineering and Quality teams to reduce downtime
• Support your team to meet production targets
• Follow food safety and health and safety standards
