Job summary
Barfoots of Botley is hiring Manufacturing Operatives for a permanent, days-only role with a 4 days on / 4 days off pattern on site in Chichester & Pagham, UK. You will set up and operate lines, changeovers, monitor performance and work with multiple teams to maintain safety and efficiency.
Benefits include Welcome and Productivity bonuses, training and development, pension and life assurance, and free onsite parking. Prior experience in food manufacturing is advantageous but not essential.
Qualifications
- Experience working with production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of production processes and routines.
- Good mechanical awareness and problem-solving ability.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive and proactive approach to daily tasks.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate production lines.
- Operate food production and packaging equipment.
- Complete product and machine changeovers.
- Monitor line performance and respond to problems.
- Record production and SIC information.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to reduce downtime.
- Support the team to meet production targets.
- Follow food safety and health and safety standards.
