Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is seeking a Food Production Operative for a busy fruit processing site in Sittingbourne, Kent. The role is hands-on, producing fruit purée on industrial equipment and maintaining food safety standards.

Shifts run 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm with weekly rotation. Driving is essential as the site is not accessible by public transport. The role is temporary to permanent with on-site training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and able to perform heavy manual work.
• Must drive and have access to a vehicle; site is not accessible by public transport.

• Moving wheeled containers weighing up to 500kg (full training provided)
• Loading fruit into production machines

The Role

We are recruiting aFood Production Operativeto join a busy fruit processing site in Sittingbourne. This is ahandson, manual roleinvolving the production of fruit purées in an industrial environment.

• You will alternate between early and late shifts every week

Manual Handling

This is avery physical role. Applicants must be comfortable with:

• Regular manual handling
• Pulling and manoeuvring heavy wheeled containers
• Standing for long periods and working in a production environment

Requirements

• Must be able to driveand have access to a vehicle
  (Site is inaccessible by public transport and located down country lanes)
• Physically fit and capable of heavy manual work
• Reliable, punctual, and committed
• Looking for alongterm role, not shortterm or temporary work
• Willing to learn and be trained within the business

Contract
