Job Description:

Connect Appointments are recruiting a number of individuals to become Food Production Operatives with our Rosyth-based food manufacturing client.

What's on offer?

  • Part-time ongoing opportunity
  • Monday to Friday, 18:30 to 22:30
  • Weekly pay at £12.62 per hour
  • Possibility of permanent employment

Working as a Food Production Operative you will be a key player, working on the food production line to ensure a smooth production process and maintain quality. Your duties will include:

  • Picking and packaging customer orders
  • Ensuring all items loaded/unloaded match relevant paperwork
  • Reporting damaged/missing items to Warehouse Managers/Supervisors
  • Keeping the warehouse environment clean and maintaining equipment
  • Storing and distributing produced items
  • Assisting with inventory controls
  • General warehouse and labourer duties

To be successful in this position, previous experience in warehouse, production, manufacturing, or a fast-paced environment is preferred; food processing experience is advantageous. You should also have:

  • Good physical strength and fitness
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
  • The ability to work effectively with limited supervision
