Manufacturing Technician – (R0260601)

Location: Glasgow

Hours: 4-day week, Monday-Thursday, 37 hours per week

The Role

We are seeking experienced Technicians to join our OME division. You will collaborate with team members, Work Cell Managers, and Manufacturing Engineers to meet business requirements. Your experience in mechanical assemblies will be used to perform manufacturing tasks according to engineering drawings, ensuring quality standards. The position is based at our Glasgow manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Perform complex manufacturing operations as per documentation.
  • Assemble products to high-quality standards, including mechanical components.
  • Align systems and conduct functional testing as per specifications.
  • Self-assess products for quality.
  • Follow company processes and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Contribute to diagnostics and root cause analysis when possible.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Use company tools (ERP/Oracle, Palma, etc.) for assembly and testing.
  • Manage and record build configurations.
  • Escalate health and safety issues and log incidents.
Your Skills and Experience

Ideally, you have several years’ experience in manufacturing, with the ability to work independently and proactively. Skills include building mechanical assemblies, interpreting drawings, clear stakeholder communication, following processes, problem-solving, working on your initiative, and basic PC skills.
