Job summary

Staffline are recruiting for a Food Production Operative at our client's site, a food manufacturing company specialising in end to end production of lamb products. Butchery, Packing and Dispatch all onsite.

Andover-based role on fixed shifts, Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm. This is a physically demanding position with heavy lifting, full training provided and opportunities for overtime, with a path to permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Be reliable and always show up to work with high energy levels.
• Have strong teamwork skills and work well with others.
• Be physically fit and able to complete 5 day weeks in a physically demanding role.
• Adhere to site SOPs and SSOW and maintain food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Pick and package raw lamb meat while following the process outlined by the supervisors of the department.
• Sort and organise the packaged products into relevant client trays, pallets or areas.
• Ensure that the end product is suitable and to the standard upheld by quality control.

Your Time at Work

During your time as a Production Operative you will:

• Pick and package raw lamb meat while following the process outlined by the supervisors of the department.
• Sort and organise the packaged products into relevant client trays, pallets or areas.
• Ensure that the end product is suitable and to the standard upheld by quality control.

Please note that this is a very physical role and it involves heavy lifting (around 25kg)
