Job summary

Bell Recruitment seeks an experienced Machine Operative to join a busy food manufacturing site in Bangor, Northern Ireland. You will operate production machinery, assist with ingredient preparation, and support packaging operations to maintain quality and efficiency.

The role requires at least 5 years operating machinery in a food production setting, a strong grasp of hygiene standards, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience operating machinery in a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of food production and hygiene standards.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently
• Prepare and handle ingredients according to production requirements
• Monitor product quality and report any issues
• Carry out packaging and labelling duties
• Follow food hygiene, health & safety, and production procedures
• Maintain a clean and organised working area
• Complete production checks and records as required
• Identify and report machinery or production issues
