Duties as Food Preparation and Nutrition Teacher:

• Deliver engaging lessons in Food Preparation and Nutrition across Key Stage 3 and/or Key Stage 4

• Support pupils in developing practical cookery skills, food science knowledge, and nutritional understanding

• Prepare students for GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition assessments and coursework

• Maintain a safe, hygienic and well-organised teaching kitchen

• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities, such as clubs or themed days

Ideal Food Preparation and Nutrition Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• A degree or relevant qualification in Food, Nutrition, Catering, or a related subject

• Experience teaching Food and Nutrition at secondary level (GCSE preferred)

• Strong classroom management and organisational skills as a Food Preparation and Nutrition Teacher.

• A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and high standards of teaching
