QS Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Production Operator for a well-established food packaging manufacturer in Rotherham. You will operate and monitor automated machinery to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality output.

The role involves changing over machines, recording production data, and adhering to food safety and hygiene standards in a clean, modern facility. Weekly rotating shifts and a pay rate of £12.71 per hour provide a stable, long-term opportunity.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, production or machine operating role (food or packaging desirable but not essential)
• Comfortable working with machinery and automated equipment
• Good attention to detail and quality awareness
• Able to follow processes, procedures and safety standards
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Operating and minding production machinery used in the manufacture of food packaging
• Monitoring machine performance and product quality
• Carrying out basic machine adjustments and changeovers
• Identifying and reporting faults or quality issues
• Maintaining accurate production and quality records
• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with food hygiene, safety and quality standards
• Keeping the production area clean, tidy and compliant with site standards
• Wearing correct PPE
• Following hand-washing and hygiene protocols
• Adhering to clean-as-you-go and housekeeping rules
