Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a Food & Nutrition Teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4 at our Slough-based school.

You will inspire students about food preparation, nutrition, health and wellbeing while maintaining high expectations for achievement and behaviour. You will employ varied teaching strategies, assess progress with constructive feedback, and contribute to curriculum development within a supportive department.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher or working towards QTS.
• Strong subject knowledge in Food & Nutrition.

The Role

As a Food & Nutrition Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Food & Nutrition lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Inspire students to develop a genuine interest in food preparation, nutrition, health and wellbeing.
• Set high expectations for achievement, behaviour and personal development.
• Use a range of effective teaching strategies to support students of all abilities.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive and meaningful feedback.
• Ensure a safe and effective learning environment within practical food preparation lessons.
• Contribute to the development of the Food & Nutrition curriculum and department resources.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and support student outcomes.
• Take an active role in the wider life of the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
