ALS is seeking a Laboratory Technician in Shrewsbury to support microbiological testing of food samples, including weighing, diluting, and preparing specimens with aseptic techniques. You will keep the workstation clean, follow schedules, and help ensure data accuracy.

Work includes media preparation, volume checks, and operating lab equipment, with a focus on safety and compliance. You will join a collaborative team, receive full training, and contribute to high laboratory standards.

Qualifications

• A Level (or equivalent) in science or relevant lab experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to lab cleanliness and safety.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual and adaptable to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing on food samples using aseptic techniques.
