Qualifications

• Experience in a Food Manufacturing environment is essential.
• Skilled in pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps and valves.
• NVQ Level 3 or time-served apprenticeship in Engineering.
• Able to work in confined spaces, ATEX/DSEAR, and at height.
• Strong fault-finding and communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns and maximise production output while ensuring smooth operation.
• Assist maintenance activities with cost, efficiency, quality, and admin tasks.
• Maintain and update technical documentation and audit readiness.
• Raise purchase orders and manage stock levels within budget.
• Support the lead technician to close out remedial actions from compliance audits.
