Job summary

Eurofins Scientific operates as an international life sciences company delivering analytical testing services to clients worldwide. The role focuses on completing the required stage of food testing to meet quality standards and internal procedures, while supporting efficient day-to-day lab operations.

The position is a fixed-term contract ending 21/12/2026, offering a 37.5-hour week on a 2 on/2 off shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in science; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Register food samples per quality standards and methods.
• Process food samples according to procedures.
• Prepare media and perform reading/confirmation tests.
• Carry out media QC, IQC and environmental monitoring.
• Record information, handle samples correctly, maintain data.
• Ensure UK health and safety legislation is followed.
• Work with the team on continuous improvement.
• Adhere to Laboratory Quality Manual and UKAS standards.
• Provide high-level internal/external customer care.
• Read and comply with company rules and notices.
