Job summary

Eurofins Scientific in the United Kingdom is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to complete food sample analysis using specified methods and quality standards. You’ll support day-to-day lab operations and ensure accurate recording of results.

The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with a 14:00–22:00 shift, Monday to Friday. You’ll work with the team to maintain high turnaround and uphold UKAS-related quality requirements.

Qualifications

• 5 or more GCSEs, or equivalent.
• Experience working as part of a team.
• Good organisation and time management.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to self-motivate.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking tasks within the main food laboratory as trained.
• Registration, preparation and analysis of food samples.
• Adhere to procedures and ensure records and quality data are maintained.
• Ensure paperwork is completed and turnaround targets are met.
• Support continuous improvement within the lab.
