Edinburgh Community Food is seeking a passionate Food Insecurity Resource Coordinator to lead training initiatives that address food insecurity across Edinburgh. Edinburgh Community Food (ECF) is looking for a dynamic and compassionate Food Insecurity Resource Coordinator to strengthen how local organisations and frontline workers respond to food insecurity with dignity.
This new role is part of a Scotland-wide initiative supported by the Scottish Government to improve responses to food insecurity and financial resilience. It will lead on developing and delivering engaging, practical training and resources for staff and volunteers working in community settings. You’ll work with local partners across Edinburgh, including Menu for All members, to co-design relevant content that supports people affected by poverty and financial hardship.
The role builds on our existing Cash First Toolkit and contributes to a national Learning and Resource Centre delivered in partnership with CFINE, Glasgow Community Food Network and Lanarkshire Community Food and Health Partnership.
