Food Innovation Technician– Food/Chocolate- Bournville, Birmingham - Up to £19.81/hr - Inside IR35

As a Plant/Lab Technician, you'll play a vital role in producing high-quality samples for groundbreaking food projects. If you're eager to learn, thrive in a hands-on environment, and are motivated to deliver excellence, this opportunity is tailor-made for you.

What You Will Do:

• Operate Pilot Plant equipment to produce samples based on detailed instructions from the Cocoa Ingredients Team Scientists.
• Roast cocoa beans, create cocoa liquor, and craft chocolate using the liquor.
• Collect, organise, and manage key project data, including processing, analytical, and consumer science data.
• Quickly adapt to using new equipment and processes to meet project requirements.
• Ensure that all tasks are completed with precision and attention to detail.

What You Will Bring:

• Previous experience using manufacturing equipment, ideally within a food manufacturing or catering environment.
• A practical mindset with the ability to quickly learn and operate new equipment.
• Keen attention to detail and a strong sense of initiative.
• A self-motivated approach and the ability to work independently without supervision.
