Job summary

LT Foods UK is looking for a proactive Hygiene Operative to uphold high cleanliness and hygiene standards across warehouse and production areas. You will support the Clean-As-You-Go policy and ensure compliance with food safety and company policies.

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility for deep cleaning, audits, or shutdowns. The role offers competitive pay, benefits, training, and career development in a growing FMCG business.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of hygiene, cleanliness and safety standards.
• Ability to follow cleaning methods and scheduled tasks.
• Awareness of cross-contamination risks and GMP basics.
• Experience in hygiene or cleaning roles in food manufacturing or warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks across production and warehouse areas.
• Support audits by maintaining housekeeping and hygiene verification.
• Empty and replace rubbish bins daily.
• Maintain cleaning tools and equipment; ensure tools are returned to shadow boards.
• Record daily Cleaning Schedule Checklist and sign-off sheets.
• Follow COSHH and safe chemical handling procedures.
• Assist with quarterly deep cleaning and PPE laundering as required.
