Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is recruiting a Food Hygiene Supervisor to join our Cleaning team. The role covers COSHH/risk assessments, safe systems of work, and leading hygiene processes within a busy food manufacturing environment.

You will drive continuous improvement, monitor Health & Safety, and coordinate hygiene audits in line with GMP standards. A proactive leader with strong office-based skills is essential, with a Right to Work in the UK required.

Qualifications

• Experience in HACCP, COSHH and QA practices in a food manufacturing/cleaning environment.
• Strong leadership and people-management能力.
• Experience with budgeting and cost-control within hygiene/QA functions.
• Proven record of implementing continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver continuous improvements of processes and procedures within the Hygiene department to meet efficiencies and cost savings.
• Identify Health and Safety issues and focus on risk reduction in the area/team.
• Record and investigate accidents/incidents and report to the site Manager.
• Conduct hygiene audits in relation to Health & Safety, GMP and Finished Standards.
• Ensure internal audits are completed and actions tracked (Quality, Chemical usage, KPI, Water usage).

About The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Food Hygiene Supervisor to join our passionate and driven Cleaning team.

Working Pattern

Tuesday- Saturday, 18:00pm-02:00am

Responsibilities

• Assist with conducting COSHH assessments, risk assessments, document safe systems of work for all hygiene tasks, and issues followed up.


• Help in delivering continuous improvements of processes and procedures within the Hygiene department to ensure on-going efficiencies and cost savings can be identified and met.


• Identify any Health and Safety issues within the area / team, maintaining a focus on risk reduction.


• Record and investigate accidents / incidents and report to the site Manager.


• Conduct hygiene audits in relation to Health & Safety, GMP and Finished Standards.


• Ensuring all internal audits are completed including any actions relating to: Quality, Chemical usage, Titatration checks, Overtime Tracker / Headcount, KPI (Data collection), Stores Usage, Swabbing denitrification / residual chemical, Water Usage.

Ideal Candidate

• You must have Right to Work in the UK


• You will have experience working in Quality Assurance


• Clear understanding of HACCP, COSHH, QA & Management Procedures


• Operational Experience within a Food Manufacturing setting


• Experience in managing budgets


• Proven record of continuous improvement and change management


• Proficient computer skills (all aspects of Microsoft Office)


• Demonstrable leadership skills with a proven record of developing and coaching high-performance teams
