Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Hygiene Operative to join our night shift team in a busy distribution centre. The role covers ambient and 5°C chill areas, with hours from 22:00 to 06:00, as part of a team or lone working.

The ideal candidate will have experience in food manufacturing environments, maintain high standards of cleanliness, adhere to safety protocols, and be able to operate heavy industrial equipment and chemicals. Right to work in the UK is essential.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK is required.
• Experience in cleaning or food manufacturing is advantageous.
• Willingness to work at height and handle safety protocols.
• COSHH/IOSH training desirable.

A cleaner required to work night starting at 22:00 and finishing at 06:00, this role will involve working as part of a team and also lone working, it is in a busy distribution centre working in both an ambient area and a chill area where the temperature is kept at 5 degrees. We are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Operative to support our client’s site.

We are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Operative to support our client’s site.

At OCS, our cleaners play an important part in providing safe, clean environments in which our customers can thrive in their workspaces. This role is based in a food manufacturing environment.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning in a food factory to a level of excellence against food industry standards.
• An awareness of the need to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
• This role may require the use of heavy industrial equipment, specialist chemicals and working at heights.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• You must have Right to Work in the UK
• A background working in cleaning/ food manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
• Willingness to work at height.
• COSHH and IOSH trained desirable.
