Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is recruiting a Hygiene Operative to join our team at a food manufacturing distribution centre in the UK. The role runs from 22:00 to 06:00 and involves working with a team and also lone working in ambient and chill areas at about 5 degrees.

You will clean to industry standards, maintain high levels of cleanliness, follow safety protocols, and may handle heavy equipment and chemicals and work at heights. Prior experience in cleaning or food manufacturing is advantageous.

About The Role:

Working Pattern

A cleaner required to work night starting at 22:00 and finishing at 06:00, this role will involve working as part of a team and also lone working, it is in a busy distribution centre working in both an ambient area and a chill area where the temperature is kept at 5 degrees.

We are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Operative to support our client’s site.

At OCS, our cleaners play an important part in providing safe, clean environments in which our customers can thrive in their workspaces. This role is based in a food manufacturing environment.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• You must have Right to Work in the UK
• A background working in cleaning/ food manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
• Willingness to work at height.
• COSHH and IOSH trained desirable.
