Job summary

Greencore Northampton is looking for a Deep Clean Operative to join our busy food manufacturing site. You will perform essential cleaning duties, dismantle, clean and reassemble equipment to high hygiene standards, and maintain accurate records while following health and safety rules.

Experience in food manufacturing or hygiene environments is valued. The role offers on-site work, training, and development opportunities within our Greencore network.

Qualifications

• General cleaning duties with adherence to hygiene procedures.
• Good communication, reading and writing; maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Comfort with manual handling and practical tasks.
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing or hygiene environment.
• Ability to follow cleaning instructions and document hygiene records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic production environment.
• Carry out general cleaning in production areas and equipment.
• Use cleaning products safely and report issues.
• Dismantle, clean, and reassemble production machinery to hygiene standards.
• Complete cleaning records and follow site hygiene rules.
• Support other areas while maintaining health and safety standards.
