Job summary

Star Salford Academy is seeking a dedicated individual to provide tailored support to our pupils and help create an outstanding learning environment. You will support and develop learning outcomes, build positive relationships across our school community, and work collaboratively with staff to enable pupils to succeed.

You will have a Level 3 qualification, strong health and safety knowledge, and experience in keeping records and managing hazards in a school setting.

Qualifications

• A Levels or Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent.
• An understanding of the main Health and Safety Regulations, including COSHH and risk assessment, and how they apply in a school environment.
• Detailed knowledge of Health & Safety legislation as it relates to the work of a school.
• Experience of keeping work records.
• Detailed knowledge of safe working practices in relation to the handling and usage of hazardous equipment and tools.

• Provide tailored support to pupils to enhance learning and development.
• Support learning and teaching and build relationships across the school and Star community.
• Work as part of a committed team with strong organisational skills to maintain a safe learning environment.
