Job summary

IKEA Milton Keynes is seeking a part-time Food Warehouse Associate to support daily deliveries and keep stock in the right place, even in cold environments. You will handle heavy stock with pallet trucks, maintain clean storage areas, and help ensure safe, efficient operations for customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Manually handling of heavy stock to various storage locations.
• Receiving, checking and storing all food deliveries.
• Maintaining all food storage areas, ensuring cleanliness and rotation by date.
• Following safety protocols for a secure environment for customers and staff.
• Supporting colleagues and fostering a positive work environment.
• Moving stock using a powered pallet truck; training provided.
• Working in cold environments (outdoors and freezers).

WHAT WE OFFER

• Start Date for this role will be 15th November 2026.
• Hourly rate of £14.15.
• Part time - 32 hours per week working 5 days out of 7, evenings and 3 out of 4 weekends.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• Manual handing of heavy stock to various storage locations.
• The role will involve receiving, checking and storing all food deliveries.
• Maintaining all food storage areas, ensuring they are clean, tidy and stock is rotated by date.
• Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
• Support your colleagues, help out, and develop a positive work environment.
• Movement of stock to and from location with the use of a powered pallet truck, medical check and training will be provided.
• Working in cold environments such as outside and freezers.
