Job summary

Farmer Ted’s Adventure Farm is seeking an experienced, hands-on Food & Beverage Manager to lead our busy operation. The role focuses on kitchen leadership, food quality, efficiency and team development in a fast-paced, outdoor venue.

You will manage day-to-day operations, plan for peak periods and ensure high standards of hygiene, service and guest satisfaction. Weekend work, holidays and Farmaggedon evenings are required.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a commercial kitchen or high-volume operation.
• Experience supervising or managing in food & beverage, hospitality or catering.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation and service.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety requirements.
• Experience managing stock, orders, waste and food costs.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for day-to-day food and beverage operation.
• Lead the kitchen and food preparation areas from the front.
• Ensure food is prepared and served to a high standard.
• Plan for weekends, school holidays, events and peak periods.
• Lead, motivate and develop a predominantly young team.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.
