Job summary

Benton Hall Golf & Country Club is seeking a dedicated Food & Beverage Assistant to enhance guest experiences across our club. You will set up tables and event spaces, greet guests, and ensure timely delivery of meals and drinks, while maintaining a well-stocked bar and optional Barista duties.

Reporting to the F&B Manager, you will upsell offerings, manage table clearances, and support front-of-house operations. A strong presentation standard and customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role is desirable.
• Food safety certification and/or HACCP certification is desirable.
• An excellent standard of presentation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and event spaces.
• Greet and serve guests.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly.
• Maintain well-stocked bar areas.

• Clear and clean tables.
• Follow money handling procedures.

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Food & Beverage ( F&B ) Assistant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the guest experience by delivering outstanding service and ensuring memorable dining experiences for both Club Members and guests. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager/Supervisor, you will help uphold our reputation for exceptional service and quality. As a Food & Beverage ( F&B ) Assistant, you will be responsible for setting up tables and event spaces, greeting and serving guests, delivering food and drinks promptly, maintaining well-stocked bar areas, upselling offerings, clearing and cleaning tables, ensuring money handling procedures are followed, and flexibly assisting in various front-of-house areas, including full bar and Barista duties. Experience & Skills Required

Schedule

• We operate a 7-days a week business, between 0600 to 2300
• Shift patterns will vary as per business requirements and encompass all opening hours - weekends and bank holidays
• Evening availability for functions (until 0200)
