Job summary

Manucomm Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Food & Beverage Development Technologist for a growing team in the Bristol area. This role is ideal for an experienced food professional, with welcome applications from recent graduates in food science or food technology who have some exposure to NPD.

You will support development and improvement of food and beverage products, taking ideas from concept through to launch, and collaborate with technical, production and commercial teams to ensure quality,

Qualifications

• Experience in food or beverage development or related technical role.
• Recent graduates in food science or food technology encouraged to apply.
• Some NPD experience would be an advantage.
• Flavouring experience would be helpful, particularly in food or beverage applications.
• You are organised, curious and comfortable working collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, testing and refinement of new and existing products.
• Prepare samples and organise product trials, tastings and evaluations.
• Maintain accurate product specifications, records and development documentation.
• Work with suppliers and internal teams on ingredients, processes and product performance.
• Help ensure products meet food safety, quality and regulatory requirements

Food & Beverage Development Technologist
Location: Surrounding area of Bristol £32,000 £40,000 per annum, depending on experience

We re looking for a Food & Beverage Development Technologist to join a growing team in the Bristol area. This is a great opportunity for an experienced food professional, but applications are also welcome from recent food science or food technology graduates ideally with some experience in new product development (NPD).
You ll support the development and improvement of food and beverage products, helping take ideas from concept through to launch. You ll work with colleagues across technical, production and commercial teams to ensure products meet quality, safety and customer requirements.
