Drnewitt is seeking a proactive Food Technologist to join their growing NPD team in Enfield. You will gain exposure to the full product development lifecycle, from concept through to launch, with hands-on involvement in customer projects, factory trials and benchmarking.

The role suits a Food Science graduate with placement year or an early-career NPD/Technical professional. Expect a fast-paced manufacturing environment and clear opportunities for progression.

Responsabilidades

Job Description

Are you a Food Science Graduate with a placement year under your belt, or an ambitious Junior NPD professional looking for your next challenge?

Our client is a well-established and highly respected food manufacturer, supplying innovative, high-quality products to retail, foodservice and wholesale customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their Product Development team with the appointment of a driven and passionate Food Technologist.

The Opportunity

Working within a collaborative NPD team, you'll support the development of new and existing products from concept through to successful launch. This role offers hands‑on involvement across customer projects, factory trials, product benchmarking and innovation initiatives, providing an excellent platform for career progression.

Whether you're a recent Food Science graduate with industry placement experience or already working in an NPD, Technical or Process role, this position offers the chance to develop your skills within a successful and growing business.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of new products from concept through to commercial launch.

About You

We're looking for an enthusiastic, organised and creative individual with a genuine passion for food and product development.

Ideal Requirements

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition or a related discipline.
• Industry placement year within food manufacturing, or 1-3 years' experience in an NPD, Product Development, Process or Technical role.
• Strong interest in food innovation and consumer trends.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively to deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proactive and hands‑on approach to problem-solving.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
