Hyatt Hotels Manchester's Corporate Management Training (CMT) Programme is a comprehensive hotel management pathway designed to equip you with skills, knowledge and real-world experience to become a future hotel leader. As a CMT, you'll develop management capabilities and gain exposure to your chosen area.

You'll specialise in Food & Beverage, enjoy structured modules, rotations across departments, leadership development, mentorship, and a personalised training plan tailored to your career

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in hospitality/related field.
• Strong English skills; knowledge of local language is a plus.
• Internship or work experience in hospitality is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High adaptability, resilience and curiosity about global hospitality trends.

As a CMT, you'll develop your management capabilities, gain deep exposure in your area of specialisation, get insights into other hotel departments, and make meaningful contributions to your hotel's success.

What You’ll Experience: Programme Highlights

• Technical Skills Module: Develop a strong foundation in the key technical skills and operational procedures within your chosen area of specialisation, either Rooms or Food & Beverage.
• Management Module: Step into managerial responsibilities, gaining practical experience in leading teams, managing resources and driving performance.
• Rotation Module: Gain a holistic understanding of hotel operations through exposure to other key departments outside your area of specialisation.
• Leadership Development: Participate in team-leading tasks, management projects and various leadership programmes.
• Mentorship & Coaching: Work closely with assigned programme managers and mentors to guide your development.
• Customised Training Plan: You will receive a personalised training plan tailored to your individual career objectives and developmental needs.

The Opportunity

• Department: Food & Beverage, depending on your preferred area of specialisation
• Programme structure: 10 months specialising in either Food & Beverage, followed by 2 months of exposure across other key hotel departments.

Qualifications

• Education: bachelor's degree or equivalent in hospitality/related field
• Language Skills: a good working knowledge of English and proficiency in local language is an advantage
• Experience: relevant internship & work experience in hotel or hospitality operations is an advantage
• Skills: strong communication & interpersonal skills, creative problem-solving, and cultural awareness
• Personal Attribute: passionate about hospitality, high adaptability & resilience, and curious about global hospitality trends
